At Vision Landscapes we are highly skilled in creating bespoke Decking and Woodwork constructions from sheds to tree-houses. We are based in West Sussex and carry out work in Surrey, Hampshire, East Sussex and London.

Decking

We provide bespoke decking design and installation in your choice of hardwood or softwood and a large range of styles of decking boards from plain and smooth cuts to grooved and ribbed for extra grip. The type of wood used for your decking is entirely up to you. Softwood is a cheaper option and can perform just as well as hardwood. Softwood must be pressure treated or steam heat treated as wood starts to degrade when it’s moisture levels reach about 22%. Hardwood however has a higher density meaning less water retention, is more durable and provides richer colours.

Our decking is built to last with great attention to detail. We start with a strong, pressure treated framework with all joists a maximum of 400mm apart to prevent any sagging in the deck boards. We then lay your choice of wood with a 3mm gap between each board to allow for ventilation, drainage and any natural movement in the wood.

Woodwork

We offer professional woodwork services providing our clients with anything from tree-houses to decking and pick-nick tables to fencing. We believe that having a bespoke woodwork construction made for you is not only about the quality of the end product but also about the process. We provide a professional friendly service from initial discussions to design, problem solving to construction, finishing to installation, keeping you informed every step of the way.

We believe that mass produced woodwork lacks the value for money and performance of hand made constructions but more importantly lacks the personalisation and attention to detail that we provide.
